Wear Your Solidarity: Keffiyehs for a Cause

Donated by a Palestinian shopkeeper in Bethlehem—with the help of Omrane Hasan—these keffiyehs are powerful symbols of resistance, much like the Mohawk warrior flag. Every scarf helps fund A Red Road to the West Bank, a film connecting Indigenous struggles from Palestine to Turtle Island.

UPDATE MAY 12, 2025 - WE'RE OUT OF STOCK!

Huge thanks to everyone who ordered keffiyehs to support A Red Road to the West Bank — we’re officially out of stock! During his 2016 visit to the West Bank, Clifton Ariwakehte Nicholas built strong relationships with Palestinian communities resisting displacement and occupation. One of those connections was with a shop owner in Bethlehem, whose family Clifton later supported from Kanehsatà:ke—with the help of our dear friend and ally Omrane Hasan, who played a key role in organizing support and securing the keffiyehs.

As a powerful gesture of solidarity, the shopkeeper has donated a bundle of authentic keffiyehs to help us raise funds for our documentary, A Red Road to the West Bank.

The keffiyeh, traditionally worn by farmers and Bedouins across the Levant, has become a powerful symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance. Over decades of struggle, it’s been worn in protest, at checkpoints, and on the front lines. Much like the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) warrior flag, the keffiyeh speaks across borders—a visible marker of a people refusing to be erased.

These keffiyehs are not just scarves—they're living symbols of Indigenous resistance and survival. And now, you can wear one as part of a global story of solidarity.

How to Get One:
Donate and we’ll send a keffiyeh your way:

  • $35 – within Canada

  • $40 – to the United States

  • $45 – anywhere else in the world

The price differences reflect shipping costs and help us raise vital funds to keep the project moving.

To get yours, visit our donation page and the note "keffiyeh" with your donation.

Thank you to Omrane, to our friends in Bethlehem, and to everyone supporting grassroots media and Palestinian–Indigenous solidarity.
